 Tips on Conserving Energy with Clothes Washers
- Wash clothes in cold water whenever possible.
- Adjust your water level setting according to the size of the load.
- Always rinse in cold water.
- If you forget to add the fabric softener to the rinse cycle, don’t re-rinse. Toss a fabric softener dryer sheet in the clothes dryer instead.
