 Tips on Weatherstripping
- To determine the amount of weatherstripping needed, measure the perimeter of all windows and doors to be weatherstripped and add 10% for waste.
- When applying weatherstripping, cover the entire outer edge of the door, making sure it fits tightly in the corners.
- Apply the weatherstripping in one continuous strip down the sides of the door or window.
- The thickness of the gap you need to fill will help determine the type of weatherstripping you choose.
