 Tips on Furnaces/Boilers
- Clean or replace furnace filters once a month or as needed.
- Clean air registers and returns, baseboard heaters and radiators frequently; make sure they are not blocked by carpeting, furniture, or drapes.
- Check your ductwork for holes and seal gaps where sections should be joined.
- Place heat-resistant radiator reflectors between exterior walls and the radiators.
- Bleed trapped air from hot water radiators once or twice a season.
